Why you need to include Ghassoul Clay in your Beauty skin routine ?

Rhassoul clay is one of my favorite beauty care products.  Read on and find out more about it !

What is Ghassoul Clay ?

Rhassoul means "The Washer" in Moroccan dialect. This type of clay, also called Moroccan Stevensite, is extracted from volcanic deposits which are formed under the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Ghassoul Clay contains high amounts of minerals, including  Magnésium silicate, Potassium, Calcium, iron and other trace minerals.

After mining, the clay is left in the sun to dry which enhances its properties. Once dried, it's purified and micronized into a fine powder. The Moroccan Clay can then be used as a nourishing and purifying mask for skin & body care, Body scrub, shampoo, skin conditioner, soap and in many other ways !

Rhassoul Clay has been used for over 1400 years by Moroccan Women & men, due to its outstanding cleansing, absorbing and regenative properties. Over the centuries, Greek, Romans and Egyptians have also prized its strong beauty and medicinal qualities.

What are the benefits ?

Rhassoul clay is rich in magnesium, silica, potassium, and calcium, which all help to nourish your skin. The chemical structure of Rhassoul clay gives it a unique ability to absorb excess sebum and exfoliates dead cells from the skin. In addition, its nourishing properties are so remarkable that it reduces dryness (when mixed with a nourishing oil), and improves skin elasticity. Ghassoul Clay is highly recommended for anyone with acne prone skin or anyone looking for a really deep, gentle and nourishing cleanse.
